OUR STORY

The story of First and Main begins with the serendipitous meeting of two women who found themselves at a crossroads in their professional lives. There was an instant connection. We both possessed a desire to find an outlet for our mutual love of entertaining. We shared matching entrepreneurial spirits open to opportunity. We also connected over our need for a balance between our professional and personal lives, not unlike so many women living in our demanding and often hectic world. What was born of that chance connection is a vibrant and authentic event space that speaks to our love of human connection. Our sincere hope is that our space at First and Main will be the backdrop for the beauty of celebrations among families and friends for years to come. The minute you step foot into First and Main, we want you to experience the love that we have poured into every detail – from the hand-oiled heart pine floors to the carefully curated collection of furnishings. We have endeavored to design a space that will inspire you, each event adding a chapter to a story that we know will be unforgettable for you and for us.

"A hidden gem! I was recently at an intimate Ladies Night Out at First and Main. Beautifully appointed with high ceilings and vintage decor! A great location in the Old Towne District of Knightdale - perfect for any gathering or event as the space is so customizable. I particularly liked the party bus in the back so that bridal parties or party goers have their own private space to get ready before the event. I recommend this new business wholeheartedly and can't wait to go back."

"Held my son's rehearsal dinner at First and Main. Everything was perfect! They worked with me and the caterer, accommodated last minute changes, provided everything they promised to and stayed on site (but out of sight) to assist with any questions or needs we had. Most of the guests (locals) did not know that the venue existed and repeatedly commented on how great it was. Many stated that there was no way a restaurant setting would have been as personal and delightful as this setting. Only regret - wish I had taken more pictures. Highly recommend!"
